Day 1 - San Cristóbal - Interpretation Center


 

Reception at the San Cristóbal airport where our naturalist guide from the Galapagos National Park will wait for us.

 

Transfer to the hotel for Check in.

 

In the afternoon we will meet again with our guide to visit Mann Beach and the Terrestrial Interpretation Center, in whose visit we will be able to get a global idea of the Galapagos Islands in terms of its formation, vegetation and fauna, history, etc.

The tour will continue. with a walk to Cerro Tijeretas to observe birds and we will end at the beach of Punta Carola where we can practice snorkeling.

Day 2 - San Cristóbal - León Dormido (Kicker Rock)


 

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

In the tour to the León Dormido (Kicker Rock) we combine diving for certified people (PADI or similar) and also clients who have a certain degree of experience. For non-divers we do surface diving or snorkeling . Without a doubt, one of the best visits of our trip.

 

 

We leave by boat early from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, we will make a first stop to test the equipment in shallow waters to later arrive at the mythical León Dormido. Here we will dive in a unique place in the world where we can swim surrounded by hammerhead sharks, white and black tip sharks, galapagos shark, stingrays, sea lions, turtles and countless fish of various species. Also hopefully we can meet the great whale shark.

 

An unforgettable experience and a good dose of adrenaline.

Day 3 - San Cristóbal - Highlands and Lobería


 

 

Breackfast at the hotel.

 

Tour visit to the upper part of the island: El Progreso, Laguna del Junco, La Galapaguera and the beach of Puerto Chino, a paradisiacal beach on the other side of the island where we will observe sea lions, blue-footed boobies, sea turtles, etc.

 

 

 

 

In the afternoon, visit to Lobería beach. An authentic natural aquarium where we will practice snorkeling.

Day 4 - San Cristóbal - Isabela - Wetlands - Tintoreras


 

 

 

 

After breakfast we will move to the San Cristóbal Airport to take a private plane that will take us, in less than an hour, to the Isabela Military Airport, where a guide will receive us to take us to the hotel for check in.

 

 

 

 

Visit to the Wetlands, Flamingos Lagoons, the "Arnaldo Tupiza" Giant Tortoise Breeding Center and the Wall of Tears.

 

 

In the afternoon snorkeling tour in islet Tintoreras.

We give you 3 alternatives for day number 5:

 

 

Day 5A - Isabela - Cabo Rosa Tunnels


 

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

Tour to the Cabo Rosa Tunnels, also known as Tunnels of love.

 

 

 

We will leave the Isabela dock to arrive at the site known as Cabo Rosa Tunnels in approximately one hour.

 

 

In this place, the boat will travel the different paths through the tunnels to observe the volcanic landscape.

 

 

First of all, we go to Roca Unión, a small islet located in the open sea where you can see pelicans, Nazca boobies and blue footed boobies. Occasionally, you can see sea lions resting on the rocks

 

 

After this short stop, you will sail for about 45 minutes to reach one of the most beautiful rocky lava formations in the Galapagos Islands. Ancient volcanic eruptions collapsed on contact with seawater, giving rise to curious volcanic rock formations in the form of tunnels and arches over the water. A magical place with crystal clear waters where you can see countless animals such as sea lions, sea turtles, blue-footed boobies, lava lizards, Nazca boobies, brown pelicans, cactus finch, sea iguanas, etc.

 

 

Later, we moved to the site known as Finados to do snorkeling with sea turtles, “tintorera” sharks, golden rays, eagle rays, seahorses, goldfish such as surgeons, damsels, etc.

 

 

The tour includes lunch box on board and lasts approximately 5 hours.

 

 

 

In the afternoon we can do snorkeling in Concha Perla, take a kayak trip along the protected coast of Isabela or a bike ride or horseback riding to the Sucre Pirate Cave in the upper part of the island.

Day 5B - Isabela - Sierra Negra Volcano


 

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Hiking to the Sierra Negra Volcano. The largest active crater in the world you can visit.

 

 

Lunch box during the tour. Visit to the Chico Volcano. Accommodatio at selected hotel in Puerto Villamil.

 

 

Día 5C - Isabela - Trillizos


 

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

Descent through the vertical lava tube towards the Los Trillizos volcano. It is about a magmatic chamber belonging to the Sierra Negra Volcano. (This tour requires the written consent and assumption of risks of the passenger).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the afternoon we can snorkeling in Concha Perla, take a kayak trip along the protected coast of Isabela or a bike or horse ride to the Sucre Pirate Cave in the upper part of the island.

Day 6 - Santa Cruz - Tortuga Bay - Highlands


 

 

After breakfast we will take a speedboat that will take us from Isabela to the island of Santa Cruz.

 

Reception at the pier and check in at the hotel.

 

 

Tour to Tortuga Bay, famous for being a nesting place for black turtles. It is a tour in which you walk approximately 45 minutes to the beach of Tortuga Bay. We go through Playa Brava, where we can see sea iguanas, blue-footed boobies, pelicans, etc. and we reach Playa Mansa, a place where bathing is allowed and if we are lucky, we will be approached by sharks that visit the place to mate (they are not dangerous). The water is cloudy in Playa Mansa because it is an area of mangroves, but it is easy to see them if you stay in the water for a while.

 

 

 

In the afternoon, we will visit the upper part of the island. We will go into the Primicias Ranch where we will walk surrounded by giant tortoises in their natural habitat to later enter the Lava Tunnels, caverns formed by volcanic lava during the formative period of the archipielago.

For the next two days, we give you two options:

 

 

Visit an uninhabited island or visit Floreana (the fourth inhabited island), returning to Puerto Ayora on the same day to sleep at your hotel, and sail the next day in our boat to practice diving or, the second option: travel to the fourth inhabited island; the magical Floreana, but spending the night on this fascinating island

 

 

Option A: Uninhabited island + diving

 

 

Day 7 - Santa Cruz - Uninhabited island "full day" visit


 

For this day, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will have some options for "full day" tours, where you will board early to reach any of the islands that we present below. The destinations are: Bartolomé, Pinzón, Plaza Sur, Santa Fe, Seymour Norte or Floreana. Choose the destination that interests you the most.

Day 8 - Santa Cruz - Sailboat on board diving


 

 

After breakfast at the hotel, we will board our sailboat to sail to one of the Galapagos Marine Sanctuaries.

 

For PADI certified people, there will be two dives. We also give the possibility for non-certified people to have their first experience in the world of diving by doing a First time Dive or the Discovery option which includes diving plus a snorkeling trip.

 

 

 

The Galapagos Marine Sanctuaries that can be visited will be:

 

GORDON ROCKS, SEYMOUR NORTH, MOSQUERA, DAPHNE, SANTA FE, PLAZAS NORTE Y SUR, BEAGLE, GUY FAWKES, BAINBRIDGE, PUNTA CARRION, NAMELESS, COUSINS, BARTOLOME, FLOREANA

 

 

Departure: 07:00 from our Dive Shop. We will be on board the yacht from 08:00 to 14:00

 

Return: 3:00 p.m. in Puerto Ayora (depending on the destination, departure and return times may vary)

 

Venues are chosen from the best based on weather conditions, passenger experience, and logistics.

 

The tour includes lunch on board.

 

Back in Puerto Ayora, we will stay at your selected hotel.

 

Option B: Floreana Island 2 days / 1 night:

 

 

Día 7 - Santa Cruz - Floreana


 

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

 

Departure from Puerto Ayora by boat to (08h30). Arrival at Floreana Island 10:30 am.

 

We will take a "Chiva" (traditional bus) that will take us to the upper part of the island where we will visit the Galapaguera and learn about the incredible story of Eloise Wagner de Bousquet, the Baroness. Floreana is undoubtedly an island taken from a movie, surrounded by a halo of mystery.

Visit to the Caves of the Pirates. We will return to Playa Negra to stay at the famous Wittmer hotel where we will have lunch.

 

In the afternoon we will enjoy the mythical Black Beach where we can do snorkeling.

Día 8 - Floreana - Santa Cruz


 

After breakfast we will practice snorkeling in a magical place, The Lobería of Floreana.

 

Where we will surely observe sea turtles among many other kinds of fish.

 

Lunch at the hotel to go on board in the afternoon back to the island of Santa Cruz.

Día 9 - Santa Cruz - Bahía - Darwin Station- Garrapatero


 

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

 

Bay tour by boat. We will visit the bay of Puerto Ayora. We will make several stops to practice snorkeling.

 

We will visit Lobería Islet, Playa de los Perros, Punta Estrada, Canal del Amor and we will end with a snorkeling stop in the famous Grietas.

 

 

 

 

In the afternoon we will meet again with our guide to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station.

 

 

Famous for the captive breeding of giant tortoises, called Galapagos, which live an average of 150 years. It was created in 1964, has a Natural History Interpretation Center and carries out educational tasks supporting the service of the Galapagos National Park. This Station is also the center of operations for foreign scientists who come to the Islands to take care of special research programs.

This day, if you prefer, we give you the option to visit the Garrapetero Beach.

 

Tell us two of the three tours that interest you the most to do this day.

 

 

 

After breakfast we will board the ferry early to the island of Santa Cruz.

 

 

Reception at the pier and check in at the hotel.

 

Private transportation to Garrapatero Beach.

 

 

Garrapatero Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We will be able to observe a permanent colony of flamingos, as well as sea turtles, among many other animals.

 

The beach does not have any type of infrastructure so if you want to spend the whole day on the beach we will leave you a radio so that you can communicate with the guide when you want to return.

 

You must bring food and water to spend time there.

 

You will be picked up at the agreed time to transfer you back to Puerto Ayora.

Día 10 - Santa Cruz - Baltra


 

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

 

Transfer in a private vehicle from the hotel in Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca Channel, where we will take the barge that will take us to the Seymour Airport on the island of Baltra.

 

 

On the way we will make a brief stop to see the Twin Craters.

 

 

End of the trip.
